CAC to change its style
The Colonial Ammunition Company intends changing its name to CAC Industries, Ltd, from June 25. It is considered the new name will be more indicative of the activities of the company, which has been generally referred to as “CAC" for many years. In recent years the company has diversified into general metal stampings and pressings, plastics and pressure diecastings. CAC manufactures most of the sporting ammunition used in New Zealand, and markets shotgun and centrefire ammunition in America and also exports centrefire cartridge cases to Australia.
The company is a subsidiary of 1.C.1. (N.Z.), Ltd.
