CAR HITS POLE
A youth suffered head injuries when the car in which he was travelling hit a power -pole in Avonhead Road about 12.30 a.m. yesterday. William John Wick, aged 19, of 204 Avonhead Road, was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital, where he is in a satisfactory condition.
