Three granted $500 bail
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 14. Three young men, appearing on indictable charges involving a firearm, were granted bail when they appeared in the Magistrate’s Court, before Mr W.- McAlevey, S.M., today. Tony Pike Thew, aged 23, a moulder, from Auckland, but of no fixed abode, Gordon Paul d’Ath Scarf, aged 21, a truck driver, of Wellington, and Roy Thomas Reid, aged 23, a truck driver, of Napier, were remanded until June 30 for the taking of depositions. The three were each released on bail of $5OO with a surety for a like amount
