Wool market trading plan

(N.Z. Press Association)

LONDON, June 14. With an eye on more simplified sales to the Common Market, the London Wool Market Association has decided to introduce a new marketing plan for wool from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay. The decision was made at the association’s annual meeting, when it was decided to inaugurate. an international greasy wool future contract, with wool from the major producing countries being delivered to a Common Market base. It is understood that this will be Flushing, in the Netherlands.

Trading under the new scheme will start in London on September 1.
