$1513 given to Pakistan
Another $B5O from Christchurch people for relief in Pakistan, brought the total sent from this area to $1513. said the secretary manager of the North Canterbury branch of the New Zealand Red Cross Society (Mr R. J. Lipscombe) yesterday. Red. Cross Headquarters in Wellington received $439 from the parishioners of St Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Dallington, last week. This has been asknowledged by the Red Cross authorities in Geneva, by a telegram to the parish priest (the Rev. T. Daly).
