3 MEN KILLED

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright/ GALVESTON (Texas), June 13. Three men were stabbed to death in a cotton warehouse on Thursday, and police said that two of the victims were tied and executed. "It was an execution-style killing,” said Sergeant H. F. Taucn. “There was no sign of a struggle and there was no safe or any money in the warehouse that we know of.” Sergeant Tauch said that the hands of two of the victims were tied behind their backs with grass rope. He said that the man not tied had apparently stumbled on to the scene, and was killed as the murderer fled. Sergeant Tauch said that the police have not determined any motive. One of the victims had more than $2O in cash in his wallet.

They were Clifford Guibeteaux, aged 56, the Texas Cotton Company warehouse manager, Robert Walker, aged 37, of Lamarque, Texas, who police think stumbled on to the scene of the crime, and Jose Pena, aged 61, an employee in the warehouse. Mr Giubeteaux’s body was found slumped over his desk, a stab wound in the heart. Mr Pena’s body was between two bales of cotton about 50 feet away, his throat slashed. Their hands were bound behind their backs. Sergeant Tauch said that police assumed that Mr Walker was killed last.
