(N.Z. Press Association) NAPIER. The Hawke’s Bay centre, M. G. Duncan, will be unavailable for selection for the first two tests against the Lions and for the Hawke’s Bay match with the tourists. Mr D. M. Tombs, the Hawke’s Bay selector, said yesterday that it had been confirmed Duncan’s jaw had been broken in the match with Wairarapa-Bush at Masterton on Monday. “He had the fracture wired yesterday and he will be out for six weeks,” Mr Tombs added.
