WAIMAIRI COUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSED BUILDING BY-LAW Waimairi County (Building) By-law 1971—N0. 1 Public notice is hereby given that pursuant to and in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Counties Act, 1956, the Health Act 1956, and the Standards Act 1965, and the amendments thereto and each and every other power and authority thereunto enabling it, the Waimairi County Council, at a Spedal Meeting, convened for the purpose and held in the Council Chambers, Fendalton, on Maj’ 20, 1971, resolved by way of Special Order to make a Bylaw, the short title of which is: "WAIMAIRI COUNTY (BUILDING) BY-LAW 1971—N0. 1* The object and purport of such by-law is to amend Waimairi County (Building) By-law 1969—N0. 1 by inserting in Chapter 4, after Clause 4.25, certain thermal insulation requirements of roofs, walls and floors, of all new buildings in the County intended to be used exclusively for the purpose of one or more dwellings and as set out in detail in the Special Order. Further notice is given that the Special resolution relating to the above and passed at the Special Meeting of the Council on May 20, 1971, will be submitted to an Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held in the Council Chambers, Fendalton, on June 21, 1971, at 7.30 p.m. for confirmation as a Special Order.
