C.A.R.E. move approved

(N.Z. Frees Association) AUCKLAND, June 9. The Citizens’ Association for Racial Equality has received a cable from the chairman of a special committee on apartheid for the United Nations (Mr Abdujrahim Farah) congratulating it on the campaign to susnend and prevent all sporting exchanges with racial South African teams.

Mr T. O. Newnham, the association’s secretary, said: “It will enable us to present the case against racist sport even more forcefully than before.”
