Taupo sales up $2m

WELLINGTON, June 9. Group sales by the Taupo Totara Timber Company, Ltd, increased more than s2m to a record $5,773,689. This included eight months sales by K.D.V. Industries, Ltd. Export sales amounted to 5519,647 in the year to March 31, the directors said in a preliminary report. The unaudited net profit of the group was $429,926. The directors recommend a final dividend of 7 per cent making a steady dividend for the year of 11 per cent It is payable on July 27, ex dividend July 14. Lamphouse profit The unaudited net profit of Lamphouse Properties, Ltd, increased $10,588 or about 22 per cent to $57,750, in the; vear to March 31, the direc-> tors said in their preliminary report.
