Supreme Court INDECENCY CHARGE

Man pleads not guilty The trial of Henry Emest Barker, aged 29, a steward, on a charge of indecent assault on a girl aged eight, began yesterday in the Supreme Court before Mr Justice Perry and a jury. Barker, represented by Mr W. C. C. M. Janus, pleaded not guilty. Mr G. K. Panckhurst appeared for the Crown.

The trial will continue today.
