Mammoth Kiwi nearly full
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 8. Mammoth Kiwi No. 27, which opened in. January, would close in about two weeks, said the organiser (Mr N. McArthur) today. About 2| of the big lotteries were run in a year, he said. This figure had been steady for the last four years. Four lotteries were drawn in the first year. Mr McArthur said sales fluctuated, the slowest being in winter. Mammoth tickets cost $2 each, and the first prize is $120,000.
