Sir,—“The Springbok” gets right to the point of my letter—how does he know that the Viet Cong perpetrate
such atrocities if, by his own admission, they are never found? As for N. L. Macbeth, I would like to explain that it was not the overlooking as such that I found “astonishing,” but that the editor, who I always thought was ulimately responsible for the coverage given to news items should complain about news being overlooked.—Yours, etc., D.
