PALMERSTON NORTH.
The North Island smallbore rifle team beat the South Island by 51 points in an interIsland shoot for the Ross Shield in Palmerston North on Saturday. The North Island scored 7963.856 to the South Island’s 7912.607.
The individual title went to L. Wilton (North Island), who took the B.S.A. shield after his card and that of R. Taylor (South Island) had been re-marked with the graduated gauge. R.
