Man killed in car
(From Our Own Reporter) TIMARU, May 30. A man died when the car in which he was a passenger ploughed into shingle and rolled over several times on the Geraldine flat about 9.30 p.m. on Saturday. He was Apiata Paia Wilson, aged 22, of Geraldine, a woodsman employed by the New Zealand Forest Service. The driver of the vehicle, which Constable J. Lester, of Geraldine, described as a write-off, was thrown out of the car. He is Errol Millar Patrick, aged 21, a Post Office lineman, of Kennedy Street, Geraldine, who suffered slight injuries which did not necessitate hospital treatment
