Water polo officers

One new selector, and a new executive member, were elected at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Water Polo Board at the week-end. Mr M. C. Scott, the Canterbury captain and coach of the under--21 team, was elected to the executive. He joins a sitting member, Mr R. A. Leach, and Mr J. de Haan, who had been co-opted to the board. Two sitting members, Messrs E. Tuyn and D. F. Stewart, were unsuccessful nominees. Mr de Haah was also returned as a national selector, along with the national coach, Mr W. H. Dyson. M . In an exhaustive . vote, Mr R. Robins won the final place ahead of Mr N. K. Chambers. Mr D. Ellis was the other unsuccessful nominee.

The national colts selectors are Messrs J. Mazzolinl and K. Mark. Mr T. M. McGirr was the unsuccessful nominee. The chairman (Mr Chambers) and secretary (Mr I. H. MacDonald) were returned unopposed.
