Archbishop dies
The Roman Catholic Archbishop of Madrid, Monsignor Casimiro Morcillo, died early today at his Madrid residence after a long illness. He was 67. The Archbishop, who was president of the Spanish Bishops’ Conference, was designated a member of the Cortes by Spain’s chief of State (General Franco), and was a member of the Council of the Realm.—Madrid, May 30.
