(NZ.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright > MOSCOW. The Russian, V. Korchnoi, defeated Y. Gejler (also Russia) in the fifth game of the candidates’ tournament for the world chess championship. Korchnoi wqn the first game, the second and third were drawn, and Geller won the fourth. At Las Palmas, B. Larsen (Denmark) and W. Uhlmann (East Germany) drew their fifth game. Larsen leads 3-2.
