Farmer killed

A man with four children aged from 12 to 19 was killed in a tractor accident on his poultry farm at Scargill on Saturday. He was Eric James Johnson, aged 46, of "Willowdene,” Scargill.

Mr Johnson was driving a small tractor up a ramp when it capsized and pinned him under it about 10.30 a.m. He was thought-to have died instantly. Constable H. White, of Amberley, attended the accident.
