Cash stolen
Cash totalling $212 and a wristlet watch worth $lO was stolen when a house in Jerrold Street was burgled on Thursday evening, the Christchurch C. 1.8. reported yesterday. The offender took $2OO from a drawer in .the livingroom of the house, and $l2 from a purse. The same night $196 in cash was stolen from the Provincial Hotel, at the comer of Cashel and Barbadoes streets. The money was taken from tills in the public, irviirton, an'J nrtvafA hare ‘
