W.C.C. meeting in N.Z.

The executive committee of toe World Council of Churches will meet in New Zealand for toe first time next February. The meeting will be held in Auckland for five days. It will be attended by toe seven presidents of the W.C.C. and toe 19 members elected to toe executive committee by toe central committee. The 26 members will represent 22 countries. Also at toe conference will be about 15 of toe staff of toe world counciL After toe conference, members will tour toe country giving public addresses. Among toe likely guests are toe honorary president (toe Rev. Dr W. A. Visser ’t Hooft), the general secretary (Dr E. C. Blake) and Mr B. Sjollema, the Dutch sociologist who directs toe council’s programme to combat racialism.
