After three rounds In the Canterbury Table Tennis Association’s A grade winter inter-club competition, three players nave an unblemished record in their nine matches. The Malaysian Ling Nan Ming, who is unbeaten in three seasons of club competition and is approaching 150 consecutive wins, has conceded one game in his nine matches as has the former Canterbury representative, R. W. Mercer (Riccarton H). M. R. Spinks, a member of the unbeaten Avonside I team, has lost two games —both in the last round. : Wong Loke Sim, Wong Chee Kong and Yeoh Keat ' Chye—three Malaysians ; in the University I side, ; which is joint leader of the competition, each ; has a perfect record from i six matches.
