Judge’s view of abortion
(N.Z. Fre>> Ann.—Copyright; SYDNEY, May 20. The Chief Justice of India, Mr Justice Hidayatullah, has called for the legalisation of abortion and for free contraceptives, to help to end the growth of
world population. Speaking at a forum on law organised by the Sixtysecond Rotary International conference in Sydney, he said that every nation should distribute contraceptives free, and that all advice and ( medical help should also be I free.
“Abortion should be legalised if the health of the mother or the child, or the resources of the family, so require,” he said.
