(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 9. The Far East representative of the Export-Import Bank of the United States (Mr S. D. Shackleford) arrived in Wellington last night for a brief visit.

Mr Shackleford is in New Zealand to inform Government, business and financial institutions about new programmes offered by the The bank is taking part in the financing of Air New Zealand's purchase of Douglas DCIO aircraft, the New Zealand Railways contract for 15 General Electric die-sel-electric locomotives, and Boeing jet aircraft for the National Airways Corporation.
