N.Z. EXPORTS MOTOR JIGS

AUCKLAND, April 11. A New Zealand motor assembly company has won a $55,000 export order from the French motor-vehicle firm of Renault.

The order, placed with Campbell Industries, Ltd, of Thames, is for three car assembly jigs, to be used in the construction of new Renault cars in South-East Asia; it is the first export order of its type from New Zealand.

The first two jigs, each valued about $lB,OOO, will leave Auckland this week in the freighter Straat Jahore, for Singapore, the third, now under construction in Thames will be shipped to Malaysia. This is the first time that* such equipment for Renault has been produced outside France, for use in more than just one country.
