Miss A. M. Proell, the 17-year-old Austrian ski-ing star has won the special slalom event in the Foetnina Cup competition in Abetone and the Women’s World Cup with an unbeatable 195 points. Miss Proell’s nearest rival, the defending chamipon, Miss M. Jacot, of France, was second, but trails her Austrian rival by 18 points, so that the final championship event in Sweden on Sunday can have no effect.
