A COMPUTER CAREER WITH UNILEVER Following the upgrading of our 1.8. M. system 360 to model 30 with 64K 4 x 2314 Disk Drives and 2 x 2415 tape drives we require the following additional staff to assist in the design and implementation of new applications SYSTEMS ANALYST: We envisage here a person with proven experience in this field who has a minimum of 2 years programming background, preferably Assembler or Cobol, and is capable of directing staff. SENIOR PROGRAMMER: A minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in Assembler or Cobol is required for this position. The principal duties would involve commercial programming and should the appointee desire could lead to specialisation in software. PROGRAMMER: We are here seeking a person with at least 2 years programming on disk tape systems, preferably using Cobol, who is also capable of advancing Into either the Analyst or Software fields at a later date. Applications under consideration include production, commercial, scientific and where applicable, incorporation of packages. A generous salary which is subject to regular review will be offered in each instance together with an opportunity to join the company's superannuation fund.
