Tickets ban

(N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright)

LONDON.

The Football Association has banned 11 players from receiving F.A. cup final tickets for the next five years. The move came after an investigation of the black market in tickets for last year’s cup final.

The 11 players, who were not named, have been barred from an allocation of tickets because the tickets they received last year ended on the black mar-

ket. Three unnamed Football League clubs have had their allocation cut by 5 per cent for failing to keep records of tickets issued to players. The association investigated 61 cases of ticket profiteering at last year’s final between Chelsea and Leeds United.
