Inter-Island scramble teams chosen

The South Island scramble team of 20 riders to compete against the North Island side at Timaru on March 28 was announced by the South Island selector (Mr W. G. Campbell), after the final meeting In the Gold Star series at the Chaneys track yesterday. The teams are:—

Group 1. —G. W. Sword, A. G. Reid R. W. Gillard, R. Harrison (all of Christchurch); C. D.

Shaw (Dunedin); H. Owen (Blenheim).

Group 2.—G. Stapleton, L. R. Boyce, B. Read, K. A. Mlles, D. Slncock (ell of Christchurch); J. Shand (Dunedin); M. Russell (Blenheim). Group 3.—8. Roberta, G. D. Holland R. K. KUgour, A.
