54 years’ service
Mr A. Hendy has retired from Simpson and Williams, Ltd, after 54 years. He began an apprenticeship in 1917 and has retired as chief linotype operator and linotype mechanic. Mr Hendy is shown receiving a presentation to mark his retirement from Mr E. A. Cleland,, chairman of the board of directors of the company.
