Aust, wool sales
Wool prices at Adelaide today were fully firm on yesterday’s Sydney rates, and closed on a strong note, according to the official report. Competition was keen and widespread, Japan being the main buyer, supported by the Continent, including Eastern Europe, the United Kingdom and Australian mills. The Australian Wool Commission gave strong support, and bought an increased percentage today.—Adelaide, February 25. r
