N. Davidson, who also took the top off the rifle, was the winner ot the Christchurch Rifle Club’s firth and flnal long-ranse competition at 800 and 908 yards at Tai Tapu. Davidson took the top off the rifle on a count-back from C. Thom. The only possible of the day was scored by J. Whitham at 800 yards.
