Chemical merger
The New Zealand operations of two major Swiss chemical manufacturers, Ciba, Ltd, and J. R- Geigy S.A. will merge on April 1, according to an announcement made today by Ciba Company, Pty, Ltd, in Wellington. The new company will be known as Ciba-Geigy New Zealand, Ltd, and will have an initial paid-up capital of $lOO,OOO. The parent companies which announced their merger last October, expect combined annual sales of sl3oom.
