U.S. VISIT LATER

(From Our Own Reporter)

WELLINGTON, Feb. 23.

The Associate Minister of Finance (Mr Pickering) was to have left for the United States early next month on a 30-day international visitor grant. However, this trip has been postponed because of the early sitting of the House. Mr Pickering, who was to have studied aspects of economic management and industrial relations patterns in New Zealand-United States trade and environment and conservation concepts, said that he now hoped to leave as soon as this session ended.
