BEER-CAN DISPOSAL

The Auckland Cricket Association is doing its best to make sure there is no repetition of the beercan throwing that interrupted the seventh test in Sydney between England and Australia. At the second test at Eden Park in a little over a week, empty cans will be collected during the lunch and afternoon tea breaks.

In another move to prevent disturbances, the A.C.A. will not discourage spectators from bringing transistor radios, but will encourage them to bring ear-plugs.
