Ralston to play Laver
(N.Z. Press Assn— Copgripht) NEW YORK. The American, R. D. Ralston, defeated his countryman, A. R. Ashe, 6-2, 4-6, 7-6, yesterday to reach the semifinals of the $210,000 Tennis Champions’ Classic, United Press International reported. It was Ralston’s first win in the last five matches he has played against his former Davis Cup team-mate. 'He fought back from 3-5 to take the tie-breaker that decided the final set. Ralston will now play the Australian, R. Laver, who has had 11, consecutive wins in the tournament. T- Okker (Netherlands) will meet R. Emerson (Australia) in the other semi-final.
