New post for astronaut

President Nixon has accepted the resignation of the former astronaut, Mr Michael Collins, from his post as Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs, which he has held for 14 months. One of the Apollo 11 crew who made the first manned flight to the moon in 1969, Mr Collins will become director of the National Air and Space Museum in Washington.
