Beautification
The Lyttelton Rotary Club’s latest project is the beautification of the Lyttel-ton-Govemor’s Bay-Diamond Harbour Road. Already two benches have been installed at a rest area near Rapaki. Hie Rotary Club will plant trees as a setting for a picnic table, and as soon as this work is finished, the club will undertake the development of further areas along the bay roadsideHotel carpet Raffles, one of the world’s most famous hotels, will be carpeted with New Zealandmade carpet. The first shipment to the hotel in Singapore has already left U.E.B. Industries, Ltd, in Auckand. The all-wool tufted carpet is a standard bedroom type produced at the company’s Papatoetoa mill
