Confirmation given (N.Z, Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH, Feb. 18. The council of the Medical Association of New Zealand had reaffirmed its profound dissatisfaction with the terms and conditions of service in the New Zealand hospital system, the newly elected chairman of the council (Dr Randal Elliott) said in a statement released in Palmerston North today. “The council has also resolved to write to members of the association at present overseas a factual letter stating clearly the reasons for its dissatisfaction with the present situation," he said.

"New Zealand doctors will be able to judge for themselves whether, being made aware of these matters, it is in their best interest to return.”
