No. DR 9938, to be replaced under the Council’s normal plant renewal programme. This vehicle purchased in 1965, has been fully serviced and is in very good condition. Present mileage is 58,000 and has recently undergone an engine overhaul. Conditions of tender and sale may be obtained from the County Engineer. Two Underfired Multi-tubular boilers 45 N.P.H. each with “Thermofeed” automatic feed control. Hodgkinson Automatic Sprinkling Stokers induced draught fans and fly ash collectors.
