(N.Z.PA.-Reuter —Copyright) WASHINGTON, Jan. 29. The United States ExportImport Bank yesterday announced two loans of about $2,050,000 each to New Zealand to help finance the purchase of 15 diesel-electric locomotives and spare parts. One loan will be from the Export-Import Bank, repayable over 10 years, at 6 per cent interest, beginning in March next year. The other is from the First National Bank of New York. New Zealand will put tip about $428,600. The locomotives would be delivered in the latter part of this year, said the bank, and would be used in the North Island for passenger and freight services.
