Accident at substation
(N.Z. Press Association) HAWERA, Feb. 1. Electricity throughout much of south Taranaki was disrupted this morning when a New Zealand Electricity Department worker came in contact with an HOkv conductor at the Waverley substation. The man, Mr Christopher Burt, was admitted to Patea Hospital with first-degree bums. The hospital reported that his condition this afternoon was “pretty fair.”
