Biggest tent

The Great Moscow Circus is housed in the largest circus “big top” ever seen in Australasia. Capable of seating 6000 at a pinch, it normally caters for 4000 in greater comfort. The peak of the centre dome of the circus is 55ft high and the walls stand 15ft high. The tent is made up of nine sections, weighs 4j tons, and comprises more than 8300 sq. yards of canvas which is held up by more than 2| miles of wire rope. An even larger big top is to be built to house the Disney on Parade show which will be seen in Australia this year.
