BONDS DRAW ON TUESDAY

(N Z. Press Association > DUNEDIN, Jan. 6. The results of the next bonus bonds prize draw (No. 9) would be released at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, January 12, said the registrar of the bonus bonds centre (Mr J. S. Asher) today. The draw will be for interest earned during December. Investors who paid for bonds before December 1 and had not redeemed them at December 31 will participate in the distribution of $58,870 divided into 3317 prizes. The electric random number indicator, which has been installed in the centre in Dunedin, has not been finally tested and will not be used for the January draw.

Suspicious fire.—Detectives are investigating a fire that damaged an unoccupied house at 7 Livingstone Street, Linwood, early yesterday morning. Firemen from the Central station put out the blaze.
