659,000 TV sets
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 6. The number of television sets in New Zealand increased last year by almost 40,000 to a total of 659,140 at the end of November, according to the Post Office. Auckland leads the country with 157,497 sets, followed by Christchurch with 84,233, Wellington 76,583, Hamilton 56,266, and Dunedin 44 f 285.
