Grandstands afloat

For the first time In the history of Olympic yachting, the 1972 regatta events in Kiel will be accompanied by official observation vessels on _ a large scale. Fourteen ships will give 3850 spectators daily a close-up view of the contests. Ten of these floating grandstands will ply on specific regatta courses, thus enabling spectators to choose their favourite boat class. The other four observation vessels will cruise on all three regatta courses.
