Canterbury rowers in good form

Canterbury rowers showed convincing form in ’ the annual New Year’s Day regatta at Picton yesterday. In the fours, Canterbury gained an early lead over Canterbury No. 2, Union No. 1, and Blenheim. It maintained this advantage during the middle stages, and a determined sprint over the last 250 metres increased its winning margin to two lengths. The crew comprised J. Lopas, R. Pickrill, M.
