RANDOM REMINDER
NEW YEAR REVOLUTIONS
The start of another year and, for the vast majority, an opportunity to reflect on their good fortune. Not, maybe, that fortunes or fame have been won. But last year was a good year for most, because they have healthy and happy families. Not everyone is so lucky. And there are some youngsters who do need a little more attention than the average. Some of them are among the pupils at the Glenelg Health Camp. They are certainly
well looked after, but they could still do with some assistance. And this is the time of year, according to one Christchurch man who is prepared to lend a helping hand, when it should be done. He has been to the place, and he has found that if there is anything these youngsters enjoy particularly, it is a trolley. But for all the children at the camp, there is only one trolley. And he wants to make some more for them. i
So this is all about an invitation for anyone who has some unwanted tricycle wheels, or perambulator wheels (with axles of course) to telephone him. His number is 39-470, and he will willingly collect the wheels and axles. There must be a lot of them available. And it is not a bad sort of thought, that something not really needed is bringing pleasure to some youngsters who, perhaps, have not known.as much of it as they should.
