Post at Niue for doctor
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 30. The medical superintendent of the Auckland Hospital Board's subsidiary obstetric hospitals (Dr W. H. McDonald), is to spend six months as a temporary chief medical officer on Niue Island from next month.
Dr McDonald had practised previously in the Pacific Islands, and the Department of Maori and Island Affairs has asked the board to release him to undertake this temporary duty.
