REPAIRS TO TANKER

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 20. An oil tanker on its way to Wellington from Whangarei made an unscheduled call at Auckland today to repair one of its boilers which broke down on Saturday night. The Athelviscount, after it had anchored for the night off Rangitoto Island, was helped into port by three tugs. She berthed at 2.45 p.m. and shore engineers began making repairs. The ship is carrying oil and petroleum.
